The Cheese Weighhouse

The Cheese Weigh-house dates, as can be seen from the brightly painted facade, from 1778. Go inside and taste some of the cheese for which Edam is world famous. It features a permanent exhibition about the art of cheese making in a historic weighing room. Visitors can taste and purchase cheese here too. De Kaaswaag Edam is open every day between April and September.
