Kwakelbrug

The construction of this bridge is interesting: the counter-balanced overhead section is connected to the footway by means of a yoke and chains. It is operated by pulling on the chain on the far side.  From the bridge there is an unforgettable view of the oldest still working shipyard in the Netherlands.
